The training is designed for anyone whose role involves supporting new employees in their onboarding process and assisting departing employees as they transition out of the company. This training is also suitable for beginners with no prior experience in onboarding and offboarding processes.

Objectives

The aim of the training is to provide an overview of the nature, importance, and broader impact of the onboarding and offboarding processes on the employee experience. Additionally, to equip participants with the skills to design both processes more consciously and effectively within their organisation.

  • The Importance and Essence of the Onboarding Process (2 academic hours)
  • What is onboarding? Why is onboarding important? How does onboarding impact the employee experience?

  • Designing the Onboarding Process (2 academic hours)
  • The 5C framework for structuring the onboarding process. What activities need to be included in the onboarding process, and why? Practical workshop on creating an onboarding process.

  • The Importance and Essence of the Offboarding Process (2 academic hours)
  • What is offboarding? Why is offboarding important? How does offboarding impact the employee experience?

  • Designing the Offboarding Process (2 academic hours)
  • Different offboarding scenarios and how they influence the process. What activities need to be included in the offboarding process, and why? Practical workshop on creating an offboarding process.

Licence

An electronic certificate will be issued after completing the training.

Length of training

8 academic hours, plus a recommended independent work period of 4 academic hours after the training – developing processes for your own organisation.
