Objectives
The aim of the training is to enable managers to gain practical knowledge, skills, and experience in the areas covered by the curriculum, as well as to exchange experiences with one another, thereby effectively enhancing their leadership abilities. How to choose and use the most appropriate communication channels for a given situation as a leader? What aspects of body language should be considered when managing people? How to effectively use questioning and listening skills as tools for managing people? Practical exercises to refine a leader’s communication abilities.
2. DELEGATION
What are the benefits of delegation for the leader, employees, and the organisation? What are the most common mistakes made in delegation practice? Key points to focus on in each phase of delegation – explaining the task, monitoring its execution, and reviewing the completed task.
3. ASSERTIVENESS
How does assertiveness differ from other communication styles? What resources can be used to boost self-confidence? How to effectively prepare for assertive communication? Which communication techniques allow for effective and appropriate self-assertion, and how to implement these techniques in practice? Key considerations during a conversation to ensure the most successful outcomes. Practical exercises to prepare for and conduct assertive discussions.
4. MOTIVATION
What is motivation, what does it consist of, and how can it be effectively applied in practice? How to identify the specific factors that motivate individual employees in their work? What non-monetary motivation methods are available for leaders to use?
5. PSYCHOLOGICAL SELF-MANAGEMENT
How can a leader effectively manage their own emotions? What psychological techniques can be used to successfully cope with everyday stress? How to recognise overthinking and counteract it? Practical exercises for managing emotions and effectively dealing with stress.
