During this training, participants will create a business plan step-by-step, providing greater confidence and reducing fears about starting a business. The course also covers the various grants and support available for aspiring entrepreneurs, as well as what business plan evaluators focus on. The training is highly practical, guiding participants through each section of the business plan in detail. It explains why each topic is important, how to approach and articulate them, and illustrates everything with real-life examples and insights from actual entrepreneurs. At the end of the training, every participant will receive personalised consultation and feedback on their completed business plan.

Objectives

The aim of the training is to provide individuals interested in entrepreneurship and those starting a business with a practical overview of creating, structuring, and exploring opportunities in entrepreneurship. To support learners in transforming their business idea into a realistic and functional business plan. The training aims to equip entrepreneurs with valuable and practical knowledge in areas such as service and product development, marketing, market analysis, and financial accounting to support the growth of their new business and enhance their entrepreneurial potential.

    DAY 1

  • Introduction to Entrepreneurship: The essence of entrepreneurship, the benefits and opportunities of being an entrepreneur, and the nature and roles of an entrepreneur (2 academic hours)
  • Types of Business Structures: Business forms, company ownership, management, and company registration process (2 academic hours)
  • Business Idea: Finding, developing, and evaluating a business idea (1.5 academic hours)
  • Business Plan: Formats, fundamentals of preparation, structure, and business models (2.5 academic hours)
  • DAY 2

  • Market and Target Groups: Understanding the market, target audience, market share, identifying and knowing your ideal customer (2 academic hours)
  • Competitive Analysis: Strategies, competitive advantage, and analysis of competing products (2 academic hours)
  • Value Proposition and Service Design: Developing products/services, understanding product features and customer expectations, production processes, efficiency, and pricing strategies (4 academic hours)
  • DAY 3

  • Process Management: Personnel needs and task distribution, labor law, and workplace safety (3 academic hours)
  • Marketing: The concept of marketing, creating a marketing plan, and selecting marketing channels (3 academic hours)
  • Risk Analysis (1 academic hour)
  • Key Information Channels for Entrepreneurs: Support structures and opportunities for applying for grants (1 academic hour)
  • DAY 4

  • Basic Accounting Knowledge: Break-even point, organising accounting, taxes, and tax benefits (3 academic hours)
  • Financial Forecasts (3 academic hours)
  • Common Mistakes in Business Plans (1 academic hour)
  • Q&A Session (1 academic hour)

Certificate

Upon completing the training, participants will receive an electronic certificate if they have attended at least 80% of the interactive sessions, which incorporate practical tasks, and successfully defended their independent project (business plan). In other cases, a confirmation of participation will be issued instead.

Length of training

The training consists of 56 academic hours, broken down as follows: 32 academic hours of interactive training integrated with practical tasks, and 24 academic hours of independent work.
