Target group

Radiation workers who encounter ionising and industrial radiation in their daily work and require initial or continuing education in radiation safety training according to the Minister of the Environment’s Regulation No. 57 (24.11.2016), “Requirements for Radiation Safety Training of Radiation Workers and Radiation Safety Specialists.” For example, this training may be necessary for acceptance by the Environmental Board or the Association of Veterinarians; it is relevant for those working with radioactive sources, in the oil shale industry where radiation is used in technological processes. Users of Cs-137 certainly qualify. However, this training does not cover topics related to electrical radiation. The trainer will always take into account the fields of activity of the registered participants and will tailor the training accordingly. Radiation workers are required to undergo radiation safety refresher training at least every 5 years.
