Objectives
The aim of the training is to provide knowledge for working with various types of lifting equipment (cherry picker, forklift, telescopic forklift, telescopic loader, boom lift, stacker and pallet jack). This two-day lifting machine operator training is designed for individuals in Estonia who are starting their careers as lifting machine operators and wish to acquire a competitive theoretical knowledge base and practical experience in the profession, as well as obtain lifting machine operator licenses. The two-day training is also aimed at those who are already working with lifting devices but wish to enhance their understanding of different types of lifting equipment, workplace safety and relevant legal regulations. The training is based on international standards and focuses on developing operators’ awareness and prevention of risks and hazards, as well as fostering a sense of responsibility. Lifting machine operators may work with internal transport vehicles in warehouses: forklifts, cherry pickers and telescopic boom lifts. With a valid category B driver’s license, they may also operate lifting equipment outdoors.
